About This Visitor Value Calculator

This free Visitor Value Calculator estimates the potential monetary value of website visitors using total page views and estimated Page RPM. It can help website owners, bloggers and publishers understand the approximate value of their traffic.

What Is Visitor Value?

Visitor value is an estimate of how much revenue a website may generate from an individual visitor. The value depends on how many pages visitors view and how much revenue those page views generate.

How Is Visitor Value Calculated?

First, the calculator estimates total revenue from page views using Page RPM. It then divides the estimated revenue by the number of visitors.

Estimated Revenue = (Page Views ÷ 1,000) × Page RPM

Value per Visitor = Estimated Revenue ÷ Visitors

Example

If a website receives 1,000 visitors and generates 2,000 page views with a $5 Page RPM, the estimated revenue is $10. That means each visitor is worth approximately $0.01 under these assumptions.

What Can Affect Visitor Value?

  • Number of pages viewed per visitor
  • Visitor location
  • Advertising demand
  • Traffic quality
  • Device type
  • Ad viewability
  • Website topic and audience
  • Seasonality

Actual Revenue May Vary

This calculator provides an estimate only. Actual website revenue can be significantly different depending on advertising performance, traffic quality, visitor location, ad demand and other factors.
